.Buongiorno, sono in possesso di quest'orologio appartenuto a mio padre di cui conosco poco o nulla. È una maison che non seguo con particolare interesse pur riconoscendole stima e apprezzamento per alcuni modelli.
L'orologio in questione misura 32mm, ha un quadrante pulito con scritta IWC Shaffausen tutta in corsivo, swiss made al 6, numeri arabi sulle 12 ore. Il fondello presenta un numero e 2 punzonature, una con il 750 e un'altra che ancora non ho decifrato.
Non l'ho aperto per paura di rigarlo o rovinarlo.
Vi chiedo se con le (poche) info qui sopra e le foto sotto siete in grado di darmi qualche dettaglio in più sulla sua storia, epoca, caratteristica particolare.

E' un modello Portofino, referenza 2010, fine anni 80.

This is an 18k yellow gold IWC Ultra Slim Portofino, reference 2010. It has an alligator leather strap with a gold-plated IWC tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid brushed snapback case back hallmarked inside, and the 32mm diameter solid two-body case, fluted teardrop lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is white with applied gold baton hour markers, and gold baton hands. It has a 35-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 5.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
The mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 849 movement is rhodium plated. It's constructed with 19 jewels, 123 components, a monometallic balance, and a shock absorber mechanism. The movement is just 1.85mm thick, and it's engraved "Master Conrol 1000 hours," having passed the rigorous test before leaving the manufactory.. -

Assolutamente. È che porto con più disinvoltura altri orologi, magari meno pregevoli. Quest'IWC lo trovo un po' impegnativo, tendente anche ad un abbigliamento molto molto formale. Cosa che in questi ultimi mesi non faccio praticamente più.
Ecco, la cosa che mi frena rispetto alla vendita, è la possibilità di lasciarlo a mio figlio..
