Bello il movimento. La cassa meno. Tre edizioni limitate di 99 pezzi ciascuna.

Comunque meglio degli altri modelli Romain Jerome.

Inspired by and named after NASA’s first space station launched 40 years ago, the new Romain Jerome Skylab line features a skeleton structure housed in a 44 mm case that recalls the original space station and its revolutionary construction by combining sleek lines and a complex system of solar panels.

Romain Jerome designed every single component of the movement like if it was floating in space with the single barrel at 12 o'clock and the balance -wheel at 6 o'clock. In total, the skeleton movement is built on five layers.

The case of the Skylab Heavy Metal version is made of satin-finished and polished steel with rhutenium coloured movement. The satin-brushed hands are treated with superluminova C1 "blue emission" on the tips.

In the Skylab Speed Metal version, the bezel, the movement and the hands are black.

The Skylab Red differs from the Skylab Speed Metal for the red gold bezel and red gold coloured hands.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Romain Jerome calibre RJ004-M with 21 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.

Each watch contains material from Apollo 11 mission on the bezel. The three Skylab models are limited edition of 99 pieces each. Retail prices are CHF 15,950 for the Heavy Metal and Speed Metal versions and CHF 18,950 for the Red one.

...se avesse avuto una cassa più "normale" sarebbe stato proprio bello...chiaramente parere assolutamente personale...

Ho trovato questa immagine anche se non molto dettagliata. Ovviamente visto di tre quarti sembra un po' più affollato.
