Carina l'idea e interessante l'implementazione. Diametro 42.7 mm. Spessore 11.7 mm. Titanio e oro rosso per le lunette.

The idea behind the new Richard Mille RM 63-01 Dizzy Hands is to play with time. The inspiration came from the first lines of a poem entitled Le Temps, written by Gérard de Nerval, an exponent of the French romantic tradition of his day:
Le Temps ne surprend pas le sage; mais du Temps le sage se rit, car lui seul en connaît l'usage...
Time does not surprise the wise; but of Time the wise laughs, as only he knows how to use it...

In fact, the RM 63-01 does not only gives the exact time but, on request, it can 'suspend time'. When the pusher in the centre of the crown is pressed once, a slow ballet of rotation begins: the sapphire glass dial slowly rotates counterclockwise, as the hour hand moves clockwise, both at a different speed. A playful way to redefine timekeeping and entertain, allowing one to release from pressing schedules. Once ready to come back to the busy life, it is sufficient to depress the pusher again and everything on the dial returns to normality.

The mechanism of the RM 63-01 Dizzy Hands, the calibre CRMA3, is a completely new movement fully developed by Richard Mille's engineers in Les Breuleux, reinventing principles taken from chronograph design to achieve these artistic results, together with specially designed and researched parts that separate the hour and minute functions completely from one another.

The column-wheel positioned at 1 o'clock actuates the rotation mechanism of the sapphire hour disc and hour hand. The hammer at 3 o'clock triggers the return of the RM 63-01 to the initial state, displaying the exact time.

Designed in titanium with PVD treatment and a bidirectional rotor with gold Celtic design, the automatic movement is housed in a round three-part case with red gold front and back bezels with a central caseband of titanium. The lugs are separate elements of the case design. The diameter is 42.7 mm with a thickness of 11.70 mm.

Unlike the other round watches in the Richard Mille collection, the RM 63-01 Dizzy Hands is the very first to have a curved, round front bezel.
