Omega has just announced a world premiere with the Seamaster Planet Ocean Orange Ceramic and its new bi-directional 24-hour GMT rotating bezel whose polished ring is made from orange ceramic (patent pending). Numerals, division lines, inner ring and triangle on the bezel are made of 850-grade platinum Liquidmetal.

This is a limited edition of just 8 pieces, due to complex process for producing this type of ceramic bezel. The caseback remarks the exclusivity of the piece with the “World Premiere” engraving along with the limited edition number.

The case size does not change in comparison with the standard model that we presented last year in April maintaining a diameter of 43.50 mm and offering water resistance to 60 bar (600 metres / 2000 feet). For this exclusive model Omega chose platinum for the case with brushed and polished finishing. The dial is also made of sand-blasted 950-grade platinum with white gold indexes and hands. All the orange elements are made of aluminium.

Movement is the Co-Axial calibre 8615 fitted with a Si14 silicon balance spring. The watch is completed by a matching orange leather strap with platinum stitching and a platinum foldover clasp. An orange rubber strap is also delivered with it along with a special tool to change it.

    Ciao, ciao.
