.Se non mi è sfuggita, mi pare che non ci sia una discussione su questo nuovo modello Tank. Movimento scheletrato circolare supportato dai due cristalli. Carica manuale, 72 ore di riserva di carica grazie ai due bariletti visibili alla destra e alla sinistra del logo. 28,800 A/h. Misure: 30mm x 39.20. Prezzo attorno ai 40k. Per quanto mi riguarda, tra tutti i nuovi Cartier di quest'anno è quello che salvo. 
Among the new timepieces presented by Cartier at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2014 recently held in Geneva, the Tank Louis Cartier Sapphire Skeleton (ref. W5310012) certainly is one of the most interesting.
Differently from other watches that we have seen, this new Tank model is elegant and not excessive on the wrist. In fact, the white gold case is 30 mm large and and 39.20 mm long with a thickness of 7.45 mm.
The main bridge of the 9616MC hand-wound movement is circular and creates a nice contrast with the rectangular case. Thanks to the use of sapphire crystals on both sides of the case, the skeletonised movement looks like it is floating inside the case. The blued hands add an appropriate touch of colour to the dial.
On top, symmetrically positioned with respect to the Cartier logo, the two barrels deliver a power reserve of 72 hours to the balance beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Completed by an alligator strap with a folding clasp, the Tank Louis Cartier Sapphire Skeleton will have a retail price of approximately 40,000 Euro.

In effetti non raggiunge l'equilibrio estetico dell'orologio pienamente riuscito. Tuttavia, IMHO riesce comunque a svettare se accostato alle novità della linea Rotonde...

Come genere, tipo orologio misterioso mi intriga abbastanza, però concordo che andrebbe visto dal vivo, in foto non convince del tutto .
