The Girard-Perregaux 1966 well symbolizes the concepts of classic elegance and understatement. Its typical slightly domed dial is now available in a deep blue tone version with a sunburst effect which makes the dial change colour depending on how the light strikes the surface.
The dial is adorned with gilded baton hour markers at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, plus a double marker at 12 o'clock. The leaf-shaped hour and minute hands are also gilded. A small window at 3 o'clock provides the date indication.
Crafted in pink gold, the case has perfect proportions with a diameter of 38 mm and a thickness of 8.62 mm. The case protects the GP03300-0030 mechanical, self-winding manufacture movement beating at 28,800 vph and offering a power-reserve of 46 hours.
The alligator strap matching the deep blue tone of the dial is secured by a pink gold pin buckle.
