Versione Dual Time dell'Ingenieur in cassa acciaio 43 mm. Quadrante nero o argento. WR 120 mt. Calibro automatico 35720 28.800 A/h, 42 ore riserva di carica.

2013 was the year of the Ingenieur for IWC and in fact the Schauffhausen-based watchmaker presented many new Ingenieur models last year. But more novelties in this collection are on the way.

The new IWC Ingenieur Dual Time displays a second time zone, indicated by a hand with an arrowhead tip on the outer 24-hour ring.

To make it easier to differentiate between day and night, the top half of the ring, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., is darker than the lower half. The time can be advanced or turned back in one-hour steps via the crown, even when crossing the International Date Line.

Sporty and dynamic, the 43 mm stainless steel case features the signature bezel with five striking bores. Differently from the new Ingenieur models, where the bores have a mere aesthetic function, the original Ingenieur SL (ref. 1832) model, designed by Gerald Genta in 1976, had five functional holes placed directly on the rim itself, where they originally served to hold it firmly in position.

The case, water resistant to 120 metres, protects the self-winding Calibre 35720 beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering 42 hours of power reserve.

The new Ingenieur Dual Time is available with a black (ref. IW324402) or a silver-plated (ref. IW324404) dial.

:woot:
