cit: The re-issues do have the Type B case and crown, but to make this clear, the Type B was not only for the reissued Navigators. They were "reissues" because back in 2001 Marathon found a batch of old SS Navigator cases still in their warehouse, and CountyComm and MWR were able to convince Marathon to use the cases with new movements, dials and hands and sell them to collectors. As I mentioned further up in this string, the reissue case is IDENTICAL to a Type B original issue watch, because it IS an original Type B case. The way to tell an original issue from a reissue is by looking at the tritium tube at 12:00 on the dial -- if it's orange, is a reissue, if it's green, it's an original. Just so there's no mistake about a Type B original being a reissue with an old dial, I used to have a complete set of Marathon Navigators -- Type A, Type B, Reissue, and current composite, and I acquired my Type A and B at least two years before the reissues were announced.

Case of Type A is same as case used for the Adanac Navigator.So the main difference between original Type B and Reissue (if I can't see the movement) is that the original Type B has all green tritium tubes vs. Reissue has orange tritium tube at 12 position.
