Interessante.

The Graham brand takes name and inspiration from the British watchmaker George Graham (1673-1751) who is considered one of the fathers of modern watchmaking. Friend of astronomers like Isaac Newton and Edmond Halley, George Graham created a mechanical model of the solar system which was presented to the Earl of Orrery - from which the invention took its name - in 1713.

To celebrate the 300th anniversary of this achievement, this year Graham unveiled the Geo.Graham Tourbillon Orrery wrist machine (ref. 2GGBP.B01A), a limited edition of 20 pieces in a 48 mm pink gold case with a thickness of 17.60 mm.

Set in motion by Christophe Claret Manufacture which made the exclusive G1800 Calibre for Graham, the Orrery includes the Moon, Earth, Mars and the Sun based on a 300-year calendar.

The Moon is made of rhodium, the Earth of blue sapphire and Mars is represented by a ruby. Finally, the Sun is represented by a pink gold hand-engraved Tourbillon bridge with 2 Phoenix heads celebrating the decoration originally used by George Graham.

The black dial displays three scales: the hours and minutes scale, the Gregorian calendar with the Earth indicating the date, and the Zodiac scale. The hours and minutes hands are off-centred and treated with SuperLuminova.

On the case we find the planets' control crown at 2 o'clock, the manual winding and time adjustment crown at 3 o'clock, the moon corrector at 4 o'clock and the Mars corrector at 10 o'clock. The year counter on the case back enables to identify correction for the planets (Moon: 7 years, Earth: 1156 years, Mars: 25 years).

The Orrery wrist machine developed by Graham will be functional for the next 300 years.

    48 x 18 mm ..................... il braccio del tennista è garantito.
Peccato perchè esteticamente e tecnicamente molto rilevante.

Bello!
