The new Urwerk UR-105M was conceived with an armour in mind. Like a shield, a steel protective bezel protects the titanium body.
The satellite complication is mesmerising. There are four satellites, each of them indicating three of the twelve hours. The current hour makes a 60-minute journey along the minute scale. Once the hour has elapsed, the satellite rotates and continues around its orbit for another three hours before returning to the centre stage.
Two additional indications, running seconds and power reserve, are displayed laterally on the case band. This seconds indicator is synchronised with the honeycomb 10 seconds disk on the right side of the case near the minute scale.
On the back, we find the Control Board as Urwerk calls the set of additional indications including oil change (when it is time for servicing), the 42-hour power reserve and the fine-tuning screw allowing the adjustment of the rate.
The case, whose dimensions are 39.50mm x 53mm x 16.65mm, has been pressure tested to 30 metres. The UR 5.01 manual-winding movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Two versions of the UR-105M are available: the Iron Knight with a titanium case and a steel bezel and the Dark Knight with a titanium case and an AITin-treated steel bezel.

Amo Urwerk, ma questo é uno dei pochissimi che non mi ha fatto sbavare alla prima foto....a differenza, per esempio dell'UR 210 e dell'UR 110

I miei preferiti sono in assoluto l'UR103 e l'UR203 ..... sarà che li ho provati dal vivo.. (anche se ho provato pure l'UR210, bellissimo ma dovendo scegliere gli preferisco il 203)
A questo UR105 preferisco (dovendo scegliere) ancora il 103 ... anche se comprendo che meccanicamente questo sia superiore e tenendo in considerazione che il 105 non l'ho mai preso in mano.....
Se invece non dovessi scegliere per forza uno o due modelli allora vanno benissimo tutti.. compreso questo meraviglioso UR105.
