Da Glashütte nuovo movimento cronografico a ruota a colonne integrato nel nuovo Senator Chronograph Panorama Date, crono flyback con indicazione riserva di carica (70 ore) e grande data. In oro rosa e platino. Il modello in platino si differenzia anche per lo zaffiro cabochon nella corona e la scala tachimetrica nel quadrante. Diametro 42 mm.
Glashütte Original developed a new column-wheel chronograph movement, designed and hand-crafted entirely in its own manufactory, which debuted at the heart of the Senator Chronograph Panorama Date, presented at BaselWorld 2014 in two versions, one with a red gold case and lacquered silver grained dial and the other with a platinum case and hand-finished silver dial.
The new Calibre 37-01 integrates central stop seconds hand, 30 minute and 12 hour counters with flyback mechanism; small seconds counter with power reserve indicator, and Glashütte Original’s Panorama Date display.
The model with the red gold case features a lacquered silver grained dial with black railroad chapter ring and black Roman numerals while the model in platinum adopts a silver plated gold dial with laser-engraved black tachometric scale, railroad chapter ring and Roman numerals.
Both dial features a 12 hour chronograph counter at 12 o’clock, a 30 minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds dial with black and white power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock. The signature Panorama Date display with black numerals on an ivory ground is positioned at the centre of the lower half of the dial.
All hands are in blued steel, and the dial is framed by a slim, elegant bezel. The 42 mm case is satin brushed and polished and has a total thickness of 14 mm. The crown of the platinum model is set with a blue sapphire.
The chronograph start and stop functions are activated by the pusher at the upper right side of the case, the flyback mechanism by the pusher at the lower right. Pressing the flyback pusher halts the on-going chronographic time measurement and the chronograph hour, minute and second hands jump back to zero. The time measurement does not stop, however, but rather begins immediately a new measurement as soon as the flyback pusher is released.
The accurately finished movement with its bi-directional rotor in 21-ct gold oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire crystal back case. A single spring barrel manages the 70-hour power reserve.
Regulation of the oscillation system beating at 28,000 vph (4Hz) is performed using four gold screws on the balance rim; the absence of a regulator on the spring allows the movement to run continuously over a much longer period of time, resulting in increased precision.

Bello è bello, preferisco l'oro rosa. La corona modello Cartier del platino proprio non mi piace. . -
